Service Description:
The Service Provider will review the Client’s SBIR Proposal draft document, providing comprehensive feedback and suggestions within the specified scope below.
Scope of Service:
Full review of an SBIR Phase I or pre- Phase I Proposal draft document, including analysis of:
Compliance with the relevant SBIR/STTR solicitation requirements
Alignment with Soliciting Agency’s evaluation criteria (e.g. Intellectual Merit, Broader Impacts, and Commercialization Potential)
Clarity, technical accuracy, and readability
Detailed feedback report and recommendations for improvement
Recommendations for other SBIR opportunities to consider, if applicable.
Client Obligations:
Provide a complete draft proposal in Word or PDF format. Review timeline does not begin until document provided.
Ensure the document is in mature draft state (substantive revisions expected if necessary, not early drafts).
Delivery Timeline:
Service Provider will deliver feedback within 5 business days of receiving the draft proposal.
Payment Terms:
Total Fee: $750
Payment is non-refundable unless the Service Provider fails to deliver feedback within the specified 5-day timeline.
Terms and Conditions:
Confidentiality: Both parties agree to keep all aspects of the proposal and review process confidential. The Service Provider shall not disclose or use any information from the proposal outside the scope of this agreement.
Limitation of Liability: The Service Provider’s liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the service.
Intellectual Property: The Service Provider claims no ownership of the proposal document or any content therein. All rights remain with the Client.
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): An NDA may be signed if required by the Client to ensure the confidentiality of the proposal content.
Feedback Delivery Format: Feedback will be provided in a written report (Word or PDF format) with clearly marked suggestions, comments, and improvement areas.
Client Acknowledgment: The Client acknowledges that the review service does not guarantee proposal funding or award and that feedback is advisory only.
Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If terminated by the Client prior to the Service Provider's completion of the service, only the initial 50% deposit will be retained by the Service Provider.
